i thought a new header would be really cool since flumpool’s feet are slighly pixelized. but but i decided to change the theme as well. and here it is! ikuta toma as my header! it really fits my username and my url, ne? 🙂 the photo, uhm, i just cropped a wallpaper available in the net. if this was yours, just leave a comment so i can credit. 😀 now, the page looks fresh and clean since black and white really looks good. and the font size is smaller now but it is still readable. i prefer this font size so that one must not scroll down that much. i think i might keep this layout for a while. ja!
Seigi no Mikata
15-year-old Yoko, a young girl who is constantly tormented by her self-centered and devilish older sister Makiko, who works for a government office after having graduated from a famous university. Myu no Anyo Papa ni Ageru (Myu will Give Daddy her Legs)
The drama is based on a true story of Yamaguchi Hayato (25), a young man who learns he has a rare illness known as Chronic Inflammatory Demyelinating Polyneuropathy, which affects the nervous system. He begins to lose the functioning of his limbs, but he is determined to fight the illness with the support of his wife and his 2-year-old daughter, Myu-chan. (from tokyograph)
Being baited by MatsuJun into the jdrama world, I just can’t let this drama pass by me. So I watched it. Heard this from my co-drama junkie in the dorm. She said she was itching to watch this but she can’t find it anywhere in the net (We can’t download videos while in the dorm so we resort to Youtube). So being a good friend I am (hahahahahaha! really now? XD) and being a MatsuJun follower as well, I downloaded the torrent file. But my Internet was possessed by then so I asked my roommate to download it for me. And come Monday, we were able to watch it. 🙂 My roommate’s not a drama junkie like me but like all girls, she adores pretty boys like MatsuJun. XD Continue reading →
Hanayome to Papa
Ishihara plays a new 20-year-old OL working in the apparel company of her dreams. Her father, played by Tokito, loves his daughter excessively to the point that he compels her to follow his house rules: 7:00pm curfew, no socialising with the opposite sex. Nevertheless, she falls in love with her colleague, played by Taguchi, and begins a mission to “graduate” from her father.. (from dramawiki)
Here I am again with all my sidestories. XD
I decided to download this after watching Ganbatte Ikimaashoi Taguchi Junnosuke’s parts in Ganbatte Ikimasshoi. I can’t stop liking Junno’s smile. I am such a weak person for smiles like that. So, so, I checked if Hanayome to Papa is available in Veoh for download. And it is. So I immediately downloaded it. XD
Junno is not just a supporting actor but he’s the love interest of Aiko, played by Ishihara Satomi, which is the lead. It was funny when I realized that Aiko’s father, Kentaro, played by Tokito Saburo, also played as the professor in Voice which also stars Ishihara Satomi. Heehee. Junno in a drama is love so I loved watching this. XD Continue reading →
Meitantei no Okite
The original writing is a short mystery collection that takes a humorous approach to many of the genre’s cliches. Matsuda stars as the “famous detective” Tenkaichi Daigoro, while Kashii Yu plays the female lead as a rookie cop. (from dramawiki)
Episode One was funny. I didn’t expect that this drama would be funny since it’s a mystery/detective drama. :DD I watched it primarily because I want to see Shota in a fedora. So hot. 😡 Anyway, I guess I’m such a shallow person so I enjoyed this. I laughed slash giggled several times since I’m such a sucker for slapstick comedy. Well, I’m a sucker for every drama, I guess. Especially dramas with Shota in it. XP
If slapstick comedy doesn’t fit with you, then maybe you won’t enjoy this. But I’m definitely watching this. :D:D
Plus, I like how unique the plot is. I mean not like 33 minute detective but it shows how CLICHE (too lazy to put the whatever dash on top of the E) detective/mystery stories are. I kept referring to Detective Conan while watching this. I mean, the locked room mystery. And the need for everyone to be present when the detective reveals the mystery. =)) And and, how pretty girls are usually the criminal. =))))) And all that. It just spells, Detective Conan episodes follows the same pattern. As if that wasn’t obvious. But the show made it really obvious that I’m laughing my ass off (well, not really) while watching this.
Just watched on Mysoju. Sorry to the dearest fansubbers, Queerbeet FS but I can’t handle drama downloads as of now. But I promise to download them ASAP. :DD
I don’t feel like making good impressions right now. I feel sleepy. Although I might watch Majo Saiban later even though it’s 1:40 AM. Just for my dear Toma. 😀 Maybe editing this soon. Thou shall post all first impressions here. XD
Atashinchi no Danshi
These days, the term “homeless” has taken on new meaning. There are youths referred to as “net cafe refugees,” who have neither a job nor a place to live, but who find themselves hopping around internet cafes. One such refugee is a 20-year-old girl named Chisato, who lost her mother at a young age due to sickness. She spent her youth trying to escape from the huge debt her father left her, and her battle with the repossessors unfolded every night. However, her life changed after meeting one man named Shinzo, changing her views on the meaning of “family.” Shinzo comes from a rich family tracing back to the Edo period, and he adopted six good-looking sons with the hope of one becoming his successor, but all of them have strange personalities. Shinzo promises to free Chisato from her debt if she marries him and becomes the mother of his sons. However, a life with these six guys under one roof will not go smoothly… (from tokyograph)
As expected, Episode One was funny and well, light-hearted. Heehee. I am enjoying this so I’ll watch this for sure. With Mukai Osamu glowing everytime he’s on screen, I can’t take not to watch this. XP And and, that little boy, the youngest son, is just plain kawaiiiii. Kyaaaa! I’m not a pedo, hmph. But he’s too cute. XD
I just doubt it if Shinzo-san really died. I mean, dying exactly after one month. And, Chisato said something like “He really died, ne?” and repeats it for quite a number of times. Thus, raising the doubt that Shinzo-san might be alive. Heehee. XD
The sons are really funny and I think they have the wackiest personalities. Like, they’re so strange and weird. But I think, Sho (Mukai Osamu) is the most normal. Well, I’ve watched enough dramas featuring hosts so I think that doesn’t bother me anymore. Anyway, the first son (Kaname Jun) is uhm, I don’t know what is his occupation but he seems like an artist or something. The second son is really noisy and I think he’s a delivery boy. The third son, played by Mukai, is well, a host. The fourth son is gay. An okama model, I don’t know what that means. And the fifth son, played by Seto Koji is a shut-in. He hasn’t leaved his room for a year already. I hope I’ll appreciate Seto Koji’s cuteness now since I really don’t like/love him. And the sixth son, and the youngest, is a genius. Mehn, he said he doesn’t need any inheritance since he got stocks. Woah. Heehee. 😀
Horikita Maki’s attitude here, or well, Mineta Chisato looks like Ashiya Mizuki’s in Hana Kimi. That she’s stubborn and all. Heehee.
Bishies + comedy is love so I’m definitely watching this. XD
Happy birthday Keii-chan! XD For those who don’t know, Keii-chan is Koyama Keiichiro. XP I just stumbled upon someone’s blog and and and, read that it’s his birthday! Sorry, Keii-chan for not knowing! XD I promise to remember ot forever. It’s also Labor Day here in the Philippines so it’s a holiday! XD So I won’t forget it ever again. XD I thought I was late because the blogpost that I read was dated April 30. So I checked his DramaWiki profile. XP Once again, OTANJOUBI OMEDETOU GOZAIMASU! XD
And I read the blog of someone who’s really a fan of Keii and I took this test. XD The Johnny’s Ranker test. It’s my first time to take it. XD
It’s so hard to choose between those who you really like. First question was between Yamapi and Ryo-chan. I love them both but I know deep in my heart that it’s Yamapi that I like more. XD Other hard questions would be Junno or Jin and I ended up choosing Junno. XD Sorry Jin, but Junno is also <3. And between Junno and Hikaru (Yaotome). It’s really hard to choose which do you like more between your favorite for each Johnny group. I mean I like Hika but I also like Junno. XCC I pause for a moment and do other things and it really hurts to choose between them. I mean, my heart felt jumpy and all that and and and, I feel like I was cheating one of them if I choose. But in the end, I chose someone else over the other.
Toma is not in this quiz because he hasn’t debuted yet. Oh come on Johnny Kitagawa, Toma needs to debut NOW. But I’m thankful that Toma is not in the list since I don’t know how I will choose between Yamapi and Toma and oh, Ryo and Junno. XP Continue reading →
